Thanks to a heritage of inestimable value, consisting of the extraordinary naturalistic beauty of its coasts and its immediate hinterland and the numerous cultural assets, it is an important tourist attraction: tourists are in fact enchanted by the beauty of its nature during the day and by night, for those who love entertainment, overwhelmed by events and shows that kidnap until the first light of dawn.

Castellammare is also rich in spas, where it is possible to regenerate: the Segesta spas, or hot waters, as the spas are called, are rich in sodium chloride, sulphates and are sulphurous, their temperature is around 46/47 and these waters flow directly from the Hot River, to fall into small sheltered loops, where it is possible to take hot baths, in fact, to those who are preparing to immerse themselves in its warm waters to find benefits in cases of arthrosis, rheumatism, traumas, gynecological diseases, myalgia and neurites.

The presence of permeable rocks in the area allows the waters to be absorbed to the depths, thus the proximity to the hot magma, heats the thermal waters that rise to the surface at different points along the river Caldo. People can bathe directly in natural pools, created by water, called Polle del Crimiso, which was probably the ancient name of the Caldo river, without paying for access, as this area is free. The whole area is full of small and suggestive waterfalls, created over the centuries by blocks of rock fallen into the stream bed.

You can discover an area made of natural and scenic beauty such as Trapani just 40 km away, which is entirely surrounded by the sea, with a historic center truly rich in history and culture and then the white and suggestive salt pans with its windmills.

Not far away the small but fascinating island of Mothya, ancient seat of one of the most important Phoenician colonies, going up the mountain, you continue to breathe history in the splendid town of Erice, an authentic medieval jewel from which you can enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view. Then continue the visit of the two grandiose archaeological complexes of Segesta and Selinunte located a few km from the splendid town of Castellammare del Golfo.

About 7 km away, Scopello rises, a suggestive ancient fishing village, famous for its Faraglioni with its old Tonnara and crystal clear waters, a true paradise for divers thanks to the wealth of marine flora and fauna. Immediately after, the Zingaro Nature Reserve: a succession of cliffs overlooking the sea, rugged promontories, magnificent coves, deep recesses, caves and submarine tunnels, fantastic beaches of pebbles and sands that are reflected in an uncontaminated sea with changing tones.

In short, a landscape to visit and not to be missed.
