A brand new b&b in Castellammare del Golfo where the rooms are characterized by a detail that makes them unique and different from each other, but the feeling of total relaxation you can enjoy is common to all of them.
The B&B Kore is a unique place, in which not only to host tourists who visit our splendid territory, but to make them feel pampered and welcomed in one of the most enchanting places in western Sicily, Castellammare del Golfo.
The name Kore comes from the passion of its managers for Greek culture: Kore was in fact a Greek demigod, daughter of Demeter (goddess of the fertility of the earth) and Zeus, who was one day kidnapped by Hades, god of the underworld. The mother Demeter begged Zeus to intervene to get her daughter back and thus obtained to have her back with him on earth in the six months of mild season (spring and summer), while she remained in the underworld with her husband in the colder seasons (autumn and winter). In the six months in Kore he was on the earth with his mother, everything flourished and the earth was fertile for the production of new crops. The cult of Kore and Demeter also spread to Sicily of Magna Graecia.
Each room of the B&B has the name of a Greek divinity, such as Aphrodite, Demeter, Elio, Ermes, Poseidon.
